About Us
Built by safety professionals, for safety professionals
We started Samplify IH because we saw how much time industrial hygienists and EHS teams spent on manual exposure assessments — work that should be faster, more consistent, and defensible.
Meet the founders
Anthony Calvillo
Co-Founder & CEO
I am a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with a master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Cincinnati’s Education and Research Center program. My research focused on firefighter carcinogen exposure and decontamination effectiveness, inspired by my father’s 30+ year firefighting career.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked across the chemical industry and supported pharmaceutical, oil and gas, mineral, and other high-risk operations globally. I founded Samplify IH to modernize industrial hygiene decision-making and make exposure risk management more practical and accessible.
What drives my work most is communication — translating complex exposure and safety risks into clear, actionable guidance for every level of an organization. Effective industrial hygiene depends not only on technical expertise, but on understanding people and communicating in a way that builds trust and drives action.
Marco Fatica
Co-Founder & CTO
My software engineering background spans startups up to Fortune 500 companies, with a long history of building passion projects focused on solving real-world problems through technology.
I’ve spent my career designing and building systems with an emphasis on usability, scalability, and practical impact. At Samplify IH, I focus on creating tools that modernize industrial hygiene workflows and make complex data more accessible and actionable for teams in the field.
I’m especially passionate about bridging the gap between technical systems and the people who use them every day — building software that is not only powerful, but intuitive and reliable in high-stakes environments.
Our mission
To make occupational exposure assessment faster, more consistent, and accessible to every organization that handles hazardous chemicals — not just those with large industrial hygiene teams.
